A Family Reunion

On Saturday, June 20th, 2009 there will be a day-long event entitled "A Family Reunion, Families of El Rancho de Las Golondrinas," hosted by El Rancho de las Golondrians Museum located in La Cienega, just southwest of Santa Fe.

This even will feature speakers presenting a variety of topics ranging from individuals, families, and history associated with the historic ranch. Las Golondrinas is a living history museum depicting daily life during the Spanish Colonial time period in New Mexico. Established about 1710 it has been a working ranch and paraje, that is, a resting point along the Camino Real, the royal highway that stretched from Mexico City to Santa Fe for nearly 250 years.

Advanced registration is required in order to help prepare for this event. Basic registration is $5.00 per person, and includes admission to the Museum and special event fees. Children under five are free....
